"The King"

So it's true. Philly Cupcake has developed a Bacon Chocolate Cupcake. "The King," named after Elvis Presley's favorite sandwich, is chocolate ganache dipped Peanut-butter Buttercream on Banana cake topped with you guessed it, Chocolate covered bacon. Whoever came up with this is a genius!

Vegan

No Eggs, Milk, Meat 

While the idea of a Bacon Chocolate Cupcake makes me want scream uncontrollably and jump for joy I LOVE the vegan cupcakes at Philly Cupcake! They are kept in the "Vegan Corner" of their beautiful vintage showcases. I have seen Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry & Oreo (Monster). The cakes are so moist and they use disco dust (edible glitter) on these to make them even more picturesque. The solid dark chocolate designs they put on these and other cupcakes are delightful little toppers. Thank goodness dark chocolate and Oreo are Vegan :) I like to compare their Vegan option to the non-vegan corresponding cupcake... I honestly can't decide which I like more. Decide for yourself...

Philly Cupcake has recently partnered with Litterpaw Pet Supply on 10th & Spruce! You can now purchase these beautiful carrot, peanut butter, sweat potato Pup creations anytime, even Mondays! (They are open 7 days a week) LitterPaw is an excellent pet supply store that really cares about customer needs and the greater community. Unlike some other area pet stores that might rhyme with Soggy Dial. *cough* Philly Cupcake also has small and large confection dipped doggy bones. How Cute!
